The service

EffAktiv is a language-learning app that generates practice dialogues and stories, plays them aloud, and analyzes your pronunciation. By using the app you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You may use the app as a guest or sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt it, circumvent usage limits, or use it to generate unlawful content.

AI-generated content

Lesson content is generated by artificial intelligence. It may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate despite our safeguards. It is provided for language practice only and does not constitute professional advice.

Usage limits

The service may enforce fair usage limits on lesson generation, audio synthesis, and pronunciation analysis.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at this URL.
