About EffAktiv

Most of us can read a language long before we can speak it. EffAktiv is built to close that gap: less recognising, more saying.

The idea is borrowed from the theatre, which is why our icon wears two masks. Actors don’t learn a script by reading it once. They listen to it, pick apart every line, run it from memory, and rehearse it with a partner until it comes out naturally. EffAktiv gives you that same routine for everyday conversations, with a fresh script every time and a partner who is always ready to run lines.

What we care about

• Speaking, not tapping. Every exercise ends with your own voice: saying words back, reading aloud, playing a role.
• Real conversations. Lessons are written for situations you’ll actually be in, at the level you’re at, or made from the text you bring.
• Respect for your data. No ads, no selling your data, no tracking across other apps. You can delete your account and recordings at any time. Read the Privacy Policy.
